A few days ago we posted the second trailer for Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: Afterlife. The trailer we posted was low quality as it had been recorded off a TV broadcast. Thankfully, an HD version has been released and you can check it out after the jump.
For more Resident Evil: Afterlife coverage, here’s my set visit and on set interviews with Ali Larter, Milla Jovovich, Wentworth Miller and Writer/Director Paul W.S. Anderson. Finally, while a lot of movies have been converted to 3D in post production, Resident Evil: Afterlife was shot with they same cameras that James Cameron used on Avatar - which means it’s going to look very cool in 3D.
Here’s the official synopsis:
In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Hmm, I gotta say, I'm in love with Mila Jovovich (how can you not be?) and think some of the actors in this are awesome, but boy, some of those scenes looked, well, chronic.
I hate Paul W.S. Anderson. Why they reboot Spiderman? I don't know. What they need to reboot is RE and take it away from Paul “I make barely O.K. movies” Anderson.
Looks like fun, can't wait to see that.
