Thanks to a tip from Collider reader Max, you now have a new Resident Evil: Afterlife trailer to go with the poster that debuted earlier today. Paul W.S. Anderson returned to direct the fourth entry in the zombie franchise, having helmed the 2002 original. Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter reprise their characters, while Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) facilitates the screen debut of Chris Redfield from the video games.
Check out the slightly blurry trailer, which premiered on Attack of the Show, after the jump.
Here’s the official synopsis:
In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend.
A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
Resident Evil: Afterlife hits theaters in 3D on September 10th.
