Screen Gems has released an official synopsis and for writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson‘s fifth Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Retribution. However, even though Retribution works, I think the film should have been called Resident Evil: All Stars, since they’re bringing back a few of the actors from the previous films. Hit the jump for the synopsis. The film stars Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Kevin Durand, Shawn Roberts, Colin Salmon, Johann Urb, Boris Kodjoe, and Li Bingbing. Resident Evil: Retribution opens in 3D on September 14th.

i used to be a famous actress before i took a resident evil to the career.
I love the first three RE movies. Not at all like the original games, which I love more, but tonnes of fun.
Then the last one came out and I was all like “WTF?”
This one looks a lot like the last one. I want to go see it in case it goes back to the first three….but I have a feeling it won’t.
1st was enjoyable. 2nd was semi-enjoyable. 3rd was hard to bare. I chose not to watch the 4th. I don’t know how Michelle Rodriguez returns in the 5th. Only way that make sense is that she is a clone but wouldn’t her clone be infected too? I have no idea, but I just can’t wait for them to reboot it already. Same with the video game franchise.
Alice will have flashbacks in this movie =)

uh where’s chris and claire redfield?
The 4th one actually had characters from the show and to me, mostly resembled part of the what the games where. Had Chris in it, the big fat zombie with the Axe, undead dogs, Wesker.
They had the right characters but just the plot of the movie was not so great. It was fun though. Better then 3 that’s for sure.
This is what I have waiting for, finally! It’s still on September.
