Richard Linklater Likes LIARS (A-E)

According to Variety Richard Linklater is close to signing a deal to direct the romantic comedy “Liars (A-E)” for Miramax and producer Scott Rudin.  The film was written by Colin Farrell’s ex, Emma Forrest, and centers on a young woman’s quest to retrieve personal items from former lovers while on her way to Obama’s Inauguration – she’s obviously saving the F-Z part of her liar’s list for Sarah Palin’s inauguration in 2012.  Kat Dennings (“Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”) has already been cast as the Obama Girl’s best friend.
