Richard Madden Cast in Disney’s Cinderella

Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) has been cast as the Prince in Disney’s upcoming live-action Cinderella. As previously announced, the film is being directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, stars Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother and features Lily James in the title role.

Per Heat Vision, McAuliffe will star in the lead role of Our Robot Overlords, a U.K. sci-fi picture that "centers on a teen who gathers a group of teens together to search for his long lost father in the midst of a war between humans and robots. The teen discovers a way to fight back and he realizes that there’s more to this war than his own family."  Shooting on the modestly-budgeted picture begins June 3 in Ireland.  McAuliffe can be seen in these weekend's The Great Gatsby.

Heat Vision also reports that Cole, Cartwright and Leonard will join the remake of the thriller, The Town That Dreaded Sundown.  The story takes place in a rural Texarkana town that was stalked by a serial killer in 1946; the maniac was never caught.  In 2013, he returns. Cole plays a deputy who is doggedly pursuing the killer, Cartwright will play Timlin’s character's grandmother who is raising her after her parents die in a car accident and Leonard will play the deputy assigned to protect Timlin and her grandmother.  The Town That Dreaded Sundown shoots this month in Louisiana.
