RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES slice

20th Century Fox has released a new international television trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Although only one minute long, I definitely feel like this is the best cut of the film I’ve seen so far if for only two reasons: 1) It doesn’t include the line of dialogue “That chimp’s company property!” 2) It depicts an ape taking out a dickish guy on a cell phone who definitely had it coming. Directed by Rupert Wyatt, Rise of the Planet of the Apes stars James Franco, Andy Serkis, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, and Tom Felton.

Check out the new trailer after the jump. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is slated to hit theaters on August 5th. Click here to check out all of our previous Apes coverage.

  1. 1. Why does Tom Felton always get the evil bad guy roles
    2. I feel really bad for Caesar (the ape)
    3. Hope that it’s good!!

  2. That first quote Franco says at the beginning…”Meet chimp nine. We gave him a gene therapy that allows the brain to repair itself.”
That sounds SOOOOO choppy. I can’t believe they put that in the trailer.

    • Yeah what the fuuuuck?? How could they make such a mistake it sounds laughably bad lol. Like they took exerts from three different lines and edited them together on windows video maker.

  3. Wonderful paintings! That is the type of info that should be shared across the internet. Disgrace on the seek engines for not positioning this submit higher! Come on over and seek advice from my website . Thank you =)
