Though Robert Downey Jr. is one of the most in-demand actors at the moment, he’s also developing original properties of his own.  Deadline reports that Downey and his wife/producing partner Susan Downey have sold an original horror comedy pitch to Warner Bros. called Cloaked, based on an idea by Downey himself.  The duo will produce through their Team Downey banner, and Safety Not Guaranteed and Jurassic World scribe Derek Connolly has been tapped to pen the screenplay.  While story details are under wraps, Cloaked is described as “a supernatural horror comedy in the vein of An American Werewolf in London" with an equal amount of scares and laughs.

It’s unclear if Downey also plans to star in the pic, but he likely won’t make a firm decision until the script is finished.  Downey is currently in London filming Avengers: Age of Ultron and he’ll be seen later this year in the dramedy The Judge opposite Robert Duvall.
