Well, we're in the marketing tailspin now, folks. With a little more than a week left before the world at large gets a gander at Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which has the very real potential to be the best Star Wars movies to date, Disney and LucasFilm seem to be flooding the internet with teasers. This includes today's debut of an international trailer that gives us a few new glimpses at far-away landscapes, planets, and other otherworldly phenomenon, as well as some new bits featuring Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and her team, Death Troopers, and the view from inside the Death Star. Thankfully, the trailer, which you can take a look at below, doesn't give away much more plot, though the general outline of the plot has been clear since the second trailer debuted. There may be several other bits of footage or teasers put out before December 16th (or very late December 15th) but at this point, all that's really left is to watch Gareth Edwards' movie and see how Star Wars feels outside of the Skywalker saga.

Here's the new international trailer for Rogue One:

Here's the official synopsis for Rogue One:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
