I love Sam Rockwell and I rejoice every time I hear that he is getting work, but I must say that a new story in The Hollywood Reporter has me a little nervous. A few weeks ago I read about a new movie starring Hilary Swank and Minnie Driver called "Bette Anne Waters". I thought about it for a few minutes and then decided that the story did not peek my interest enough to write about – and I routinely do Disney press releases people!

I figured I would only write up this "Bette Anne Waters" if and when something came up about the film that was more exciting than just Hilary Swank, Minnie Driver or the two of them combined. That day has now come. As previously stated, Sam Rockwell has joined the movie… and as you may know, Rockwell makes his own excitement. Guiding Rockwell and his female cast-mates through Bette Anne's Waters will be prolific television actor and director Tony Goldwyn.

"Waters" is the real-life story of Bette Anne Waters, a woman whose brother was convicted of a murder-robbery in 1983. Waters spent the next ten years getting her law degree in order to work as her brother's most passionate advocate. Rockwell will play the brother. Is he really innocent? Will she get him off? Is that even an appropriate thing to say in terms of siblings? Watch the movie and find out!
