Sara Paxton Exclusive Video Interview THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT

With the remake of Wes Craven’s “The Last House on the Left” opening at movie theaters this Friday, tonight marks the beginning of what I’ll call “Last House Week” on Collider. What that means is….everyday I’ll be posting a different video interview with either a cast member or director Dennis Iliadis and Wes Craven (they were paired at the press day).

So up first… Sara Paxton.

While you might know Sara from her previous movies like “Sydney White”, “Superhero Movie” or “Aquamarine”, with “The Last House on the Left”, she’s definitely launching a new phase of her career. That’s because this film is absolutely brutal and definitely rated R. If her teenage fans get a look at her in this movie…let’s just say they’ll be shocked.

And for an actor trying to expand her roles, this is a very good thing.

For those unfamiliar with the original film, “Last House on the Left” explores how far two ordinary people will go to exact revenge on the sociopaths who harmed their child. Here’s the synopsis:

The night she arrives at the remote Collingwood lakehouse, Mari (Sara Paxton) and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Mari’s only hope is to make it back to parents John and Emma (Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter). Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek shelter at the one place she could be safe. And when her family learns the horrifying story, they will make three strangers curse the day they came to The Last House on the Left.

And with that, here’s Sara. Finally, if you’d like to watch some movie clips click here.
