Details after the jump.

ashley greene satanicAccording to The Wrap, Olivier Blackburn (Donkey Punch) will direct Satanic from a script by Anthony Jaswinski (Vanishing on Seventh Street).  Amid the Thanksgiving chaos, “One girl must lead her friends on a mission of survival and discover the identity of their mysterious attackers.”  The Weinstein Company production is expected to begin film in in New Orleans later this month.

Perry will write, direct, and likely star in Single Mom’s Club.  Per Variety, the story is set into motion by a school incident that brings together four single mothers: “They bond and create a support group that helps them find comedy in the obstacles of life, as well as their inner strength to overcome their personal challenges.”  McLendon-Covey will play a “snobbish book publisher wrestling with the decision to move up the corporate ladder or devote more time to raising her only daughter.”  Production begins later this month in Atlanta.  Single Mom’s Club will be the fifteenth movie that Perry has made with Lionsgate.

Universal is definitely moving forward with the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, which grossed nearly $500 million worldwide.  But the public consequences of the affair between Stewart and Huntsman director Rupert Sanders led to rumors that the sequel might drop Stewart’s Snow White and focus on Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman.  Universal was quick to deny that rumor, and Stewart is keeping her options open.  At the press junket for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, THR asked Stewart if she’s heard any updates on the Snow White sequel.  Stewart coyly responded:

“Maybe.  No one’s positive or anything, but I think there’s a strong possibility.”
