If you’re among the folk who believe the Academy Awards are too stodgy, too reluctant to embrace sci-fi, fantasy, and horror — the Saturn Awards are for you. Sure, Best Picture nominee Inception led the field with nominations, but Let Me In and Tron: Legacy (just one Oscar nomination between them) fall close behind with 7 Saturn nominations apiece. Hereafter, Alice in Wonderland, Black Swan, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, Never Let Me Go, and Shutter Island all landed 5 or more nominations.
The Walking Dead racked up the most television nominations with 6, followed by Breaking Bad, Fringe, and Lost with 5 each. Hit the jump for the full list of nominees and a breakdown of the number of nominations by film/series.

I love the Saturns, for me they’re the real awards!
I’m kind of annoyed how Deathly Hallows got snubbed(what a surprise…) for Best Production Design and Best Music.
Fringe FTW!!
I just can’t take these awards seriously. The Saturns remind me of those elementary school plays where they have to accommodate any child who wants to participate with a part. Inevitably, some seriously crappy films get recognized just because they fall under certain genres. Of course many will be happy to find their crappy little genre film listed as I am with The Wolf Man, which I think was unjustly maligned.
F**k Oscars, THESE are the real awards!
Smallville is the best and longest Series ever.. After 10 years of giving a good show… and ERICA DURANCE is the best Actress on tv, she can play different characters and still be very good at it…SMALLVILLE and ERICA DURANCE for the WIN!!!
Now THESE are awards I can get into!! So many things that so deserved recognition are here. Bah, screw the Oscars. This is where it’s at!
LOST FTW. <3
I’m so happy that Smallville is nominated and so happy that Erica is recognised, she deserved it, she’s AMAZING!
i need to say: FRINGE and INCEPTION are the two most perfect series/movie that pass 2010/2011
I’m very happy for Erica Durance. The nomination is well deserved.
Also, congrats to Smallville!
Mia Wasikowska wasn’t even nominated for Alice yet Ellen Page gets a nod for Inception?
Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll be skipping this one.
SATURN AWARDS 2011 BEST ACTRESS IN TELEVISION GOES TO…. ERICA DURANCE!!!
Someone essentially help to make seriously articles I might state. That is the first time I frequented your web page and up to now? I surprised with the analysis you made to create this actual post incredible. Wonderful process!
Usually I don’t learn article on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very pressured me to take a look at and do so! Your writing taste has been amazed me. Thank you, very great article.
You could certainly see your enthusiasm in the paintings you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. Always follow your heart.
I have fun with, lead to I found just what I was looking for. You’ve ended my four day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a great day. Bye
