Comic-Con: 65 Images of Some Amazing Sideshow Collectibles
One of my favorite booths at Comic-Con every summer is Sideshow Collectibles. Always loaded with incredible high-end collectibles aimed at the adult collector, the booth is the kind of place a nerd can lose their mind and empty their wallet. Like year’s past, Sideshow and Hot Toys revealed a number of new items when the doors opened this year, including some of the biggest high-end collectibles they’ve ever produced like a sixth scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit from Star Wars and a Tie Fighter that looks like it fits a twelve inch figure! While I’ve seen some very cool and unique collectibles over my many years covering Comic-Con, the Tie Fighter and Millennium Falcon Cockpit are easily two of the best “toys” I’ve ever seen. Sideshow hasn’t revealed the prices, but I can only imagine that both will be close to ten thousand dollars each (or more).
In addition to these two awesome Star Wars collectibles, Sideshow had plenty of other figures and vehicles on display including Ant-Man, Terminator, Ralph McQuarrie’s Boba Fett concept figures, Alien, Batman, Superman, Transformers, The Dark Knight, Back to the Future, Voltron, Yoda, Darth Vader, the Hulkbuster with Hulk, tons of Avengers figures, the Joker from The Dark Knight, He-Man and Skeletor, Spider-Man, Loki, Indiana Jones, Ash, Punisher, Wolverine, and so many more.
