As far as horror survival game adaptations go, it's easy to see that Resident Evil has proven more successful than Silent Hill; that won't stop a sequel to the 2006 horror thriller from coming out later this month.  Director Michael J. Bassett's Silent Hill: Revelation 3D follows nearly-18-year-old Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) as they attempt to escape the living nightmares that plague them.  When her father disappears (and for Bean, disappearing > dead), Heather becomes trapped in a demonic world and learns she's not who she thinks she is.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Radha Mitchell, Malcolm McDowell and Kit Harington, and opens October 26th.  Hit the jump to see the posters.
