Whoever says the sitcom is dead hasn't been watching CBS's "The Big Bang Theory" on Monday nights. If you've never seen it, the show follows four very nerdy guys who all have some issues...let's just leave it there. Anyway, I started watching early this season and I'm absolutely hooked. It probably helps that I'm a geek, and every week they talk about fanboy stuff. Trust me, if you read sites like Collider, you should really tune in and check it out. And if you go to Comic-Con every year and aren't watching, I'm collecting your badge at the door.

So at last night's Saturn Awards I got to speak with Simon Helberg on the red carpet. He plays Howard Wolowitz on the show and each week the mystery is what bright clothing will he try and squeeze himself into.

Anyhow, I managed to talk with Simon for awhile and we covered everything from filming the show to what you buy yourself when your show gets picked up for two seasons. Of course we also talked about this year's Comic-Con and the clothing he has to wear every week. If you watch "The Big Bang Theory", you're going to really like the interview. Take a look after the jump:

Simon Helberg

  • Saturn Awards talk
  • I ask about the clothing he wears on the show
  • Is he losing anonymity from being on the show
  • What was his reaction after getting picked up for two seasons
  • What do you do when you get a 2 year pick-up. New car?
  • What's it like when taping the show
  • Comic-Con talk
