Ah yes, it’s time for yet another teaser for a trailer. In anticipation of the release of the first full trailer for the new James Bond film Skyfall tomorrow morning, a brief teaser for the trailer has been released. Ralph Fiennes delivers a mouthful of dialogue that presumably explains the film’s MacGuffin, and we see a bit of a pretty terrifying stunt involving Bond and a train. I’ve really loved everything we’ve seen from director Sam Mendes entry in the long-running franchise thus far—especially this Olympics TV spot—and I’m hoping the full film delivers the goods.
Hit the jump to watch the teaser for the trailer, and check back here tomorrow morning at 9am EST. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris. Skyfall opens on November 9th.
Here’s the official synopsis for Skyfall:
Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

The IMAX preview before TDKR was stellar. Between Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem–this movie is very promising.
Was I the only one who was not shown the IMAX trailer before the midnight showing of TDKR??
Also, the trailer said october 26. I thought it was coming out the first week of november. Is the october date for europe or something?
It only showed with digital IMAX shows of TDKR, not the 70mm ones for some reason (and even then, not always, at least from what I’ve read). And yeah, 10/26 sounds like the European release date cuz it’s definitely 11/7 stateside.
It’s released in the U.K. and Ireland on October 26th, November 9th in North America.
The full theatrical trailer is going to be SWEET, but I just wish they had filmed ‘Skyfall’ on 35mm and not digital, it would have looked just beautiful… Chris Nolan is right, you can’t beat film for that rich and textured look.
Hahaha. That headline sounds so ridiculous…
What have we come to?
Uh….. I don’t mean to nitpick, but does the idea of a disc containing all undercover agents remind anyone else of the first Mission: Impossible?
I hope there’s more to this plot than that.
