Jamie Foxx channels his inner Liam Neeson in the film Sleepless, in which the actor stars as an undercover Las Vegas police officer fighting to get back his kidnapped son after he’s taken by murderous gangsters. The first trailer is set to arrive online tomorrow, but Open Road Films has released a brief teaser and poster to whet the palette.

The teaser runs for 10 seconds long and channels some John Wick imagery with neon lights, Foxx’s strict demeanor for vengeance, and epic gun-slinging. There’s even one snippet around the six-second mark where it looks like Foxx borrowed Tom Cruise’s grey suit from their movie Collateral for a quick beatdown. But for the poster he dons a slick, black Transporter-esque glove.

Watch the footage below:

Sleepless sees Foxx’s Vincent Downs trying to gather evidence against corrupt cops and a mob-controlled casino when this incident occurs. German director Baran Bo Odar (Who Am I) helms the film, based on a screenplay by Andrea Berloff, who shared an Oscar nomination for Straight Outta Compton with writer Jonathan Herman. Foxx is joined by cast members Michelle Monaghan (True Detective season 2), Dermot Mulroney (Shameless), Gabrielle Union (Birth of a Nation), David Harbour (Stranger Things), rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris (Ant-Man), Scoot McNairy (who’s may as well be in every film ever), and Octavius J. Johnson (Ray Donovan).

Sleepless is eyeing a spring 2017 release. Here’s the official synopsis:

SLEEPLESS stars Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained, White House Down) as undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs, who is caught in a high stakes web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground. When a heist goes wrong, a crew of homicidal gangsters kidnaps Downs’ teenage son. In one sleepless night he will have to rescue his son, evade an internal affairs investigation and bring the kidnappers to justice.
