Soaring into its 10th and final season, “Smallville” culminates in the epic rise of the world’s ultimate hero – Superman. Working alongside the intrepid Lois Lane (Erica Durance) at the Daily Planet, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) had accepted his destiny as the guardian of Metropolis when General Zod arrived, challenging Clark’s authority and power. Just when the romance between Clark and Lois began to bloom, Clark was called into duty by the legendary Justice Society and his own burgeoning league of heroes to fight the gathering dark forces. As season nine drew to a close, Clark sacrificed himself to save the world from Zod. Now, the final season promises the classic reuniting of the timeless romance between Clark and Lois – and brings Clark face to face with destiny as he overcomes his final trials and forges the iconic identity that will be known for all time.

The series, based upon DC Comics characters, is from Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink in association with Warner Bros. Television. “Smallville” is executive produced by Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson, James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola and Tom Welling, and was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar. SUPERMAN was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Then why comment on a story about the show? do you enjoy wasting your time or do you just believe that your comment means something to the fans of the show? Let me tell you something…it doesn't
    Bring on season 10 :D

Says You, its like Dawsons Creek with a cape

As much as I would love for you to even begin explaining that statement I am bored of you, please do us a favour and troll another thread, this is for Smallville fans and you are obviously not one. So I regret to inform you I am ending this conversation.

Sorry i forgot, he doesn't even have a cape.

You post is full of fail – he got the cape back in Season 7, and the rest of the suit in the Season 9 finale. We saw Superman in the flashforward, right at the start of the Season 9 finale.

omg I wish so hard that I could be there. Being young and poor sucks.

I love you Mr. Welling with your fine sexy self. Def one of my favorite versions of Superman, along with Reeve's first film (the rest were too campy), but Reeve had fun with his powers and could be lol-worthy near-jerk, which was endearing. One of the many failings of the last movie was how the new guy was dire and humorless, with no personality. Supes should be having fun every now and then, even if it is taunting criminals.

Someone in attendance should ask if Tom Welling would be willing to play Superman in Nolan's reboot!!!

Great job with the show. I think if they can not tie up all the loose ends in season 10, and if there is no way to do a season 11, then maybe they should do a movie. Tom Welling could definitly, in my mind, play Superman. I think my favorite episodes though are when Superman/Clark Kent gets ticked off and starts throwing guys around like pebbles. That is just cool. I honestly do not think that there will ever be another Television show quite like this. After season four Smallville took a more adult themed role. I got to say it works. In my mind this show is just as good as the movies, if not better. Keep up the good work guys! The show is great!

sense11, that was way off and you didn’t have be an ignorant trolling asshole about.
It’s nothing like Dawson’s Creek and the backround takes place mostly in the city(obviously), now that Kent’s moved to the next step in Metropolis. I too, am a Superman fan, too but the show deserves more credit than that.

Anyway, I have been watching this show since high school and always enjoyed it.
And I hope one day, Tom Welling gets the part for the rebooted Superman movie. Even said it himself he’s always been open to it. He spent 10 long years working hard building his character and he’s grow to be a respectable actor and he has proven time after time season after season, he’s earned the right to be given a chance.

Oh, as for the “he doesn’t even have a cape”, he will at the end of this season :)
