When Saturday Night Live decides on a person to host the legendary show for the first time, they never know what they’re going to get. Some people that seem like they’d be a great host are terrible, and some come out of left field to win everyone over. The last person who made such an impact on their first hosting gig was Justin Timberlake. At the time, most considered him a singer, and no one thought he could be one of the best hosts SNL hosts in a long time. But after a few classic digital shorts and some awesome skits, he’s hosted a few times and each episode has had memorable moments.
So when Zach Galifianakis hosted two days ago, I wondered what kind of host he’d be. Well, we have an answer: an awesome one. This week’s SNL was a classic in every sense of the word as Galifianakis was an amazing host and he delivered an episode filled with great skits. And while I could highlight a few of them, I want to focus on the last one as he shaved his beard during a musical break on the show! Hit the jump to see what he did. I don’t know who is going to top this.
If you want to see more of the SNL episode, here’s the link to Hulu. It’s well worth it.

He has been known to do so when he does stand up as well, so he can be his “twin brother” Seth Galifianakis. What i found funny is that for the “goodbyes” he was wearing a fake beard. Like, the producers didn't want to confuse the audience or something. Hilarious.
