Anchor Bay Films has acquired the rights to Mac and Devin Go to High School, featuring rappers and hip-hop stars Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.  The high school comedy features Khalifa as Devin, an overachieving academic type with Dogg playing the antithetical character, Mac, a 15th year senior who becomes infatuated with his substitute teacher.  When Devin struggles to write his valedictorian speech, citing lack of life experience, the two find a way to help each other out.  Mac and Devin Go to High School, directed by Dylan Brown (Boss'n Up) also stars Mike Epps (The Hangover), Andy Milonakis (Waiting), Affion Crocket (Never Back Down) and a voiceover from Mystikal. As long as Snoop brings his green hat, I'm sold. Hit the jump for more on the project.

THR reports that the pop group Far East Movement will also have a cameo in Mac and Devin Go to High School. The duo recently collaborated on the movie's soundtrack that was released this past December. It featured the hit single "Young, Wild and Free." Dogg and Khalifa will promote the movie on their tour.
