Two veterans of HBO's "The Sopranos" will re-team for the comedy "Son of Mourning," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow) and Lorraine Bracco (Dr. Melfi) will join Heather Graham and Stephen Root in the independent comedy now shooting in Florida.

"Son of Mourning" follows a disaffected young man named Phillip (Joseph Cross of "Running with Scissors") who returns to his home town and is mistaken as a savior sent to salve the Earth's climate wounds. Bracco will play the young man's mother and Sigler his love-interest. No word on who Graham will play, but I'll guess she'll be some kind of wide-eyed, naïve follower of the Phillip character – she's got a type, you know.

"Mourning" is being helmed by first time director Yaniv Raz and would be just another low-budget indie flick if not for the clever casting of the two "Sopranos" women. We take our news where we can find it people.
