Sure, Avengers: Infinity War has Thanos, but can the Mad Titan breakdance? Shortly after directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed the first set photo of Josh Brolin in a motion-capture suit for the Marvel film, Spider-Man: Homecoming helmer Jon Watts released his own behind-the-scenes peek of Tom Holland using a similar suit and breakdancing for the cameras. As the Daft Punk song conveys in the video, posted to Instagram, he’s “Doing It Right.”
Watts has been busy making his John Hughes-esque Spider-Man movie with a cast that includes Holland (returning as Spidey following Captain America: Civil War), Zendaya (rumored to be Mary Jane Watson), Michael Keaton (reportedly the villain Vulture), Robert Downey Jr. (returning as Iron Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), and Jon Favreau (returning as Happy Hogan).
Plot details are still under wraps, but all we know is that this breakdancing better be in the movie. Holland already received praise for his brief but memorable performance in Civil War and putting the fun back in Spider-Man, and he’s clearly embraced the character’s quirks.

Elsewhere, Downey posted an image to social media showing a meeting between him, Holland, Favreau, the Russos, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, and the chef behind a popular Korean taco truck, Roy Choi. The actor wrote that Choi and Favreau are working on a new project, as if that couldn’t be any more cryptic, given this eclectic group. The meeting would seem to confirm that Holland will have a role to play in Avengers: Infinity War, or, at the very least, Spider-Man: Homecoming will connect with the movie. When Joss Whedon was directing the Avengers films, he would be present on set of some of the other Marvel films to help guide the over-arching story, while sometimes filming the post-credits scenes.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017, and Avengers: Infinity War bows May 4, 2018.
