The reveal that Tom Holland's Spider-Man was going to be debuted in this year's Captain America: Civil War was, for awhile, all that anyone could talk about on the internet. Seeing him swoop in at the end of the first major trailer for the Marvel blockbuster even gave a cynic like me goosebumps, despite having indeed sat through those inexplicably bad last two movies. And since the release of the third Captain America film, it seems that every inch of news about Spider-Man: Homecoming, Jon Watts' reboot of the franchise, has been met with a hunger for more, even just in casting news. Today, however, there's something far more substantial: the first look at Peter Parker in flight in his Spidey costume.

Today, however, there's something far more substantial: the first look at Peter Parker in flight in his Spidey costume. This comes via a trailer teaser that was put up this morning, announcing that the first trailer for the Marvel film will be released tomorrow via Jimmy Kimmel Live. The brief glimpse we get at the footage features Holland in action as Spider-Man but also gives us a hint as to Tony Stark's involvement in all of this. Indeed, the only other recognizable actor in any of the images is Jon Favreau's Happy, Stark's dutiful bodyguard and best friend. You can check out the trailer tease right below and let us know what you think of our first glimpse at Spider-Man: Homecoming in action in the comments.
