2004's The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie was a modest hit, but I don't know if the character has the same popularity now.  It's been ten years, and the kids who watched SpongeBob are now teenagers or adults, so will they come for nostalgia?  And has the character's popularity even waned?  I ask because his new movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water is a little over a month away, and it's not being treated like much of an event.  I never watched the show, but I think the character is fun, and I liked the first movie, so I'm hoping the sequel is just as ridiculous.  And if not, SpongeBob and Patrick are still here to offer a nice "Happy Holidays".

Hit the jump to check out the The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water holiday video.  The movie arrives in theaters on February 6, 2015 and features the voices of Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence and Douglas Lawrence.
