Comic book legend Stan Lee – creator of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, The Avengers, and, like, the whole Marvel Universe – says his cameo career in the Marvel movies will continue, and he hoping he won’t miss out on an appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger.

“I've already done my Thor cameo,” Lee told Collider at Comic-Con. “Captain America, I think, will be filmed in England. I don't have time to go there but I'm hoping that they'll film some scenes here so that I can do that.”

More after the jump:

Along with continuing to contribute to comic book mythmaking – he’s writing short Spider-Man stories for Marvel, overseeing Boom Studios new superhero line and developing a superpowered project for Archie Comics – Lee says his acting career is “blossoming!”

“There's a science fiction show called Eureka that I have a cameo in. In fact, it's going to be more than a cameo: a little bit of a role. And I may do another Big Bang Theory.”

“I have so many offers now to do cameos that I'm going to have to start turning them down after a while, which I hate to do,” laughed the famous master of self-promotion. “I love doing them!”
