If you have the Star Trek Into Darkness app, then you were treated to two new images from the film last night. For those who don’t have the app, the images are online anyway. Either way, they’re nothing amazing. No images of Klingons or Benedict Cumberbatch’s character wearing a “Hello, My Name Is” sticker. They’re just plain old images to keep the hungry Trek masses at bay.
Hit the jump to check out the images and get your Trek fix. The film also stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Zoe Saldana, Peter Weller, John Cho, and Noel Clarke. Star Trek Into Darkness opens in IMAX 3D on May 15th, and opens in 2D and 3D on May 17th.

Awesome scowls.
Such revelatory images! It feels as though whoever is handling marketing for this film is just phoning it in at this point. And who can blame them? You have to show something, but it can’t be anything too revealing. So it ends up just being stills of the characters standing around looking intense. I’m sure the marketing will go into overdrive in a few weeks, but I’d rather they just not bother if this is the best they can do for now.
Hello Khan….we know its you. This John Harrison thing is a BS coverup.
I cant imagine somebody else playing the role of Spock other than Zack … he’s an incredible look-alike to the original. Part I was a great movie, lets hope for another surprise!!
More squinting.. awesome.
They look like their action figures! The next step is a crap cash-in, throwaway sequel!
Forget Khan….this is a redo of broadcast episode 2!
