Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits most theaters for midnight screenings on December 18th. It's now December 10th, a little after 10 a.m. To get a little technical, that's a little over a week, or a little under 182 hours from now, from the point at which this article is being published. It might sound like a lot of time, but it's not really, and you're a reasonable person with some measure of patience, I'm assuming. So, you can just wait to see the whole mishigas that J.J. Abrams has concocted, and not have any other bit of story or arbitrary information impede on your enjoyment of said film. Or you can watch the international trailer for The Force Awakens, which is posted below, which has quite a lot more footage and some arguably spoiler-ish material.

For the record, this latest trailer, one of well over a baker's dozen if you count TV spots, gives us a bit more time with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and in the Millennium Falcon, as well as a slightly more clear sense of how the latest tale will begin. I won't go into any more detail, as I'm aware of how quickly spoiler alarms can be set off for fans of this particular franchise, and the comment section is already a wretched hive of scum and villainy when it comes to these things. (I kid!...for the most part) To share my own opinion on this, I don't think the trailer shares anything particularly explosive in terms of the narrative trajectory or big reveals, but I remains, for the most part, a casual fan of these movies, and could be totally wrong. (Full disclosure: I'm a bigger J.J. Abrams fan than I am a Star Wars fan.) Of course, this is a personal decision ultimately, and all I can do is give you fair warning before you make your choice: to watch or not to watch.
