Lucasfilm has released a new and final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, director J.J. Abrams' seventh installment in the beloved franchise. There is a lot to unpack in these two minutes, but one thing is very apparent: The Old Guard of Han and Leia are clearly handing responsibilities for the ongoing conflict off to the new blood in Rey and Finn, but in a franchise that's all about balance it appears that Kylo Ren is equally determined to pick up where Darth Vader left off. Just what exactly that entails and how it will all resolve is anyone's guess at this point, but this trailer gives plenty of reasons to be excited going into the holiday season.

Check out the last Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer below and when you're done check out these 50 images we screengrabbed. The film opens December 18th and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendolyn Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Abrams & Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt.

Be honest, how many times have you watched it already? Let us know in the comments! Also, feel free to share your theories, any potential plot hints you find in the trailer scenes, and your opinion on the whole thing. Count me cautiously optimistic. And if someone could tally up the lens flares, that'd be awesome.
