Empire unveiled two Star Wars: The Force Awakens fold-out covers for their upcoming issue a few days ago and now the outlet is following that up with a new image from the film. It's a shot of Adam Driver's Kylo Ren rocking that cross-guard lightsaber that the character built himself. Clearly the still doesn't reveal anything new, but with the October issue of the magazine going on sale on Thursday, August 27th, I'd like to bet we'll have a slew of new Episode VII details soon. In fact, Empire does promise "plot revelations from JJ Abrams" tomorrow.
For now, check out the latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens image below. The film hits theaters nationwide on December 18th and also stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Peter Mahyew, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Max von Sydow.
