Disney has released a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens poster, and it’s by the series’ longtime poster artist Drew Struzan. The one-sheet was revealed during the Lucasfilm presentation at Disney's D23 convention this afternoon, where boatloads of news was also dropped. Fans of the franchise, however, should be mighty familiar with Struzan's work, as should fans of cinema in general. He's responsible for some of the most iconic posters in history, from Raiders of the Lost Ark to Back to the Future, and now it appears he's returning to the Star Wars franchise to create the poster for The Force Awakens.

The poster itself is alright, thought not necessarily one of Struzan's best. It showcases the film's principal characters: Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), and the villainous Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). This is our first look at Finn's lightsaber, which is blue, so there's also a bit of a news angle to the poster as well.
