The great thing about the current state of social media is just how fast and readily available information has become.  So, for projects that are highly anticipated and equally highly guarded - like, say Star Wars: Episode VII, for example - we'll take info where we can get it.  Today's unconfirmed rumors on the new Star Wars installment from director J.J. Abrams include evidence in support of a late 2015 release date, along with a casting call sheet that describes two of the film's lead roles.  Hit the jump for more.

First up from Dennis Barbie - Director of Retail and D2C @The Walt Disney Company The Netherlands, and unfortunately named @Barbieguitar on Twitter - is possible unofficial confirmation of a late 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII.  (Hat tip to Patrick Keuris, Managing Editor at DeathStar.nl, The Dutch Star Wars website.)

It's likely going to be a bit before we hear any official announcement on the release date as the filmmakers and Disney's distribution team are in disagreement over just when the film will be ready.  Also in the murky realm of obscurity is just who will be cast in the surefire blockbuster.  The latest rumor puts Chiwetel Ejiofor in the running, but a new casting call gives a description of two of the younger leads (via Jedi News):
