Star Wars fans around the world - especially those on location in London - got an early look at the franchise's upcoming films and TV series during last weekend's "Star Wars Celebration." And while legions of those same fans were busy descending upon San Diego for Comic-Con 2016, which has no shortage of Star Wars content available, director Rian Johnson was quietly putting the finishing touches on production of Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Maybe it wasn't so quiet; we have no idea. In fact, we don't even have an official sub-title for the eighth installment in the Star Wars saga (not counting Gareth Edwards' anthology film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which opens this December 16th.) What we do know is that Johnson & Co. can now move into post-production on the highly anticipated film starring Mark HamillDaisy Ridley, and John Boyega, before its opening on December 15, 2017. Oh and we also have the final slate of the last shot of the movie, courtesy of Johnson himself.
