While today's helping of Star Wars news has little to do with Star Wars: Episode VII and who may be directing or starring in it, it does provide interested fans with a bit of backstory on why George Lucas decided to step aside and how Kathleen Kennedy came to preside over Lucasfilm, and the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises.
