Lucasfilm and Disney have released a brief teaser for the upcoming animated series Star Wars: Rebels.  The narration reads: "To battle the Empire, a rebel alliance will form, the Jedi will rise, and you will know the power of the Force."  Rebels takes place in the twenty years between Episode III and Episode IV and centers on the fledgling rebellion against the Empire as it hunts down the last of the Jedi Knights to secure rule of the galaxy.

David Oyelowo, Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Taylor Gray, and Steven Jay Blum are in talks for the voice cast.  Star Wars: Rebels is scheduled to premiere on Disney XD in Fall 2014.  We may learn more about the series at New York Comic-Con this weekend, but for now hit the jump to check out the teaser.
