Tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, Arrow’s Stephen Amell finally made his appearance in the ring. And oh, it was glorious. Amell (a huge WWE fan "since it was the WWF") has been in a Twitter war with Stardust for some time now, and has been basically begging the WWE to let him participate. In Monday’s Raw, he was invited as a guest, but the build-up (and the insults) leading to him taking on Stardust were immense.

For those who missed it, Stardust came out, spotted Amell, and silently taunted him before taking a cheap shot. Amell then took off his baseball cap and went flying after him into the ring, pulling a few great moves and pummeling Stardust for a few seconds before security pulled him off. Stardust escaped, and was left flabbergasted. Amell, drenched in sweat, told security he’s cool, and was then escorted out of the ring, while the announcers talked about him letting his anger get the best of him, being a guest, etc.

After the commercial break, “The Authority,” Triple H, confronted Amell backstage and told him he was out of line, and that he would handle Stardust. But Amell then challenged him to let him and Neville (the “Red Arrow”) take care of Stardust themselves in the ring. Amell told him to get the lawyers to draw up the papers, “I’ll sign whatever.” When Triple H dismissed him as “just an actor,” Amell said, "I'm an actor, but I'm also a man. If he's going to put his hands on me, I'm going to fight back!"

So what that means is that (assuming Amell gets the papers in order, as it goes), he and Neville will be taking on Stardust and Barrett at SummerSlam in two weeks. Amell wasn’t in costume for his appearance on Raw, but who knows what we’ll see at SummerSlam?
