Stephen Collins to Play Villain in THE THREE STOOGES

The Farrelly brothers continue to fill out the cast for their Three Stooges film. The latest addition to the cast is Stephen Collins (7^th Heaven). Showblitz reports that the actor will play “the villainous Mr. Harter.” He joins recently announced Larry David and Jane Lynch, who will be playing villainous nuns at the orphanage where the stooges are raised. Will Sasso is set to play Curly, Sean Hayes will take on Larry, and Chris Diamantopoulos is Moe. Instead of a biopic, the film will be a vignette comprised of three new Stooges episodes, the first of which see them as children raising all kinds of hell in an orphanage. I’ll give them this: the Farrelly brothers are definitely gutsy. They’ve put together quite an unusual cast, and it’ll be interesting to see how this all turns out.
