Universal Pictures has released a new Steve Jobs trailer for director Danny Boyle's upcoming drama.  Written by Aaron Sorkin, the film has only three scenes, each one the unveiling of a product Jobs created.

This is definitely not the film I was expecting as it looks like this stretches far beyond three scenes, although it may just look that way because of how the trailer was cut.  But what really leaps out is Sorkin.  As was pointed out to me during this trailer, Sorkin is not only cribbing his own lines yet again (the one about creating the Earth is borrow The West Wing), but there are even points where Jobs kind of resembles Sorkin.  Nevertheless, this still looks like it could be an exhilarating ride even if Michael Fassbender can't completely shake his accent.

Check out the new Steve Jobs trailer below. The film opens October 9th and also stars  Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Michael Stuhlbarg.  For all of our Steve Jobs coverage, click here.
