Have you ever tried to make a list of every movie or TV show you watched or book you read for an entire year? Well, director Steven Soderbergh did, and now it’s gone online for all to see. When he wasn’t busy filming Haywire or talking about retiring, the director spent the last year watching some damn good films and reading copious amounts of books/plays/short stories. A couple fascinating take-aways from the list: Soderbergh saw The Social Network 4 times before it hit theaters, watched Raiders of the Lost Ark in black and white 3 times in 6 days, and took in both Mad Men and Breaking Bad.
The list has been put online in pdf format here (via Vulture) and includes every movie, TV show, book, play and short story that Soderbergh consumed in the past year. The director is set to release Haywire sometime this year, with the star-studded action-thriller Contagion hitting theaters October 21st. After that, he has the biopic Liberace in the works with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon attached, and then possibly one more flick with George Clooney before he quits the film business for good.
