‘Stranger Things’ Returning to Halloween Horror Nights with an All-New Maze

     March 27, 2019

Stranger Things is heading back to Halloween Horror Nights in 2019! Fans will get to walk through the wild, wonderful sights of Season 2 and Season 3 in a whole new maze that travels back to Hawkins, the Upside Down and all the familiar sights of the beloved Netflix series.

According to the press release, “This year’s chilling mazes pick up where last year’s mazes left off, continuing the suspenseful storyline where a predatory entity terrorizes the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and delving even further into the parallel universe, referred to as the Upside Down.”

The maze will appear on both coasts at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida, and you can expect to see elements from the Halloween-tinged Season 2, as well as bits from the flash forward to 1985 coming in Season 3, which arrives on Netflix July 4. Check out the event teaser below.

The release continues, “As with the previous mazes, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are partnering with Netflix and the creators and executive producers of Stranger Things to create authentic representations of the blockbuster series.” That means this year, you’ll have the opportunity to get dropped right into the holiday spirit with plenty of faithful callbacks to the seasonally-themed second season — and for those of you who are more hyped about Season 3, you’ll get to experience some of the newest mysteries that have yet to be revealed.

Of course, Stranger Things is just one of the mazes you can look forward to seeing at HHN this year — the annual Halloween event always recreates some of the biggest and most beloved titles in horror, and packs the streets with all kinds of ghouls, monsters, and creature creations in the scare zones. Without fail, it’s one of my favorite horror events every year and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store this year.

This year, the season kicks off early in Orlando on Friday, September 6 with Hollywood’s gates opening on September 13. For ticketing info and vacation packages, visit the official Halloween Horror Nights website and stay tuned for more details on what to look forward to at this year’s events.
