CBS has seemingly fine-tuned and released their fall television schedule and though there aren't many surprises, even with the new series, the hullabaloo over the Supergirl premiere does add just one more layer of anticipation. According to CBS, Supergirl will premiere on October 26th at 8:30 p.m. EST, a half-hour behind it's regular time slot on Mondays. The move is to give the series a major lead-in, namely a brand new episode of The Big Bang Theory. Following the series premiere, the DC adaptation will move back to its primetime 8 p.m. EST time slot on November 2nd. If nothing else, this shows CBS taking a hard line on making Supergirl one of their new staples, hopefully being the action-drama to match the preposterously popular Big Bang Theory.
