Greg Berlanti and his team still haven’t cast the title role in the Supergirl TV series for CBS,  but they’re working on it and apparently they’re working on casting other key characters, too.  We don’t know all that much about the show besides the fact that it’ll center on Kara Danvers, but a batch of video auditions just surfaced for Kara, Jimmy Olsen and Alex Danvers that may include dialogue that could contain important story details.

We don’t know for sure whether or not the sides these actors are using will be in the show, but there is a good chance the material contains accurate plot spoilers.  Hit the jump if you want to check out the auditions and find out what the actors got to work with.  [WARNING: This article may contain spoilers!]

All of the videos come from CBM (via Spoiler TV), but let’s start with the ones for Jimmy Olsen, the new unit photographer from Metropolis who’s buddies with Superman and known for taking pictures of him.  The scene is a conversation between Jimmy and Kara during which Kara reveals Superman "feels more like family to me."   She also asks Jimmy, “Were you scared of him?”  From there, Jimmy jumps into telling her about the time he saw Superman save some kids from a burning building.

Now here are the tapes for Kara Danvers using the same sides as the Jimmy auditions.

Last up we’ve got two audition tapes for the role of  Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, Kara’s foster sister, and one is actually from Once Upon a Time’s Meghan Ory - and it’s actually pretty good!  The conversation takes place between Alex and Kara with Kara revealing she used her powers in public to stop a train from going over a bridge, and Alex isn’t happy about it.
