‘Suicide Squad’ Gets PG-13 Rating, Plus New Images and TV Spots

I don’t know about you, but in a world where heroes are dominating the screens, I can’t wait to see villains do their thing in David Ayers Suicide Squad. Some fans were also hoping that the film would get an R rating, but that dream has died with the reveal that the film has officially received a PG-13 rating. But don’t be disappointed, the rating comes from having “sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, and suggestive content and language”, which still sounds like what we hope to see.

There’s still some time before Suicide Squad hits theaters in August, so you can also take a look at new images and TV Spots to get your anticipation going before Task Force X is unleashed.

‘Wolverine 3’: Set Images Reveal Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart

Slowly but surely some type of reveal comes out of Wolverine 3 giving us small details about the film, that includes–more than once–the reveal that Patrick Stewart is appearing in the film as Professor X. And if for some reason you still had your doubts and are a “see to believe” type of person, the reveal of new set photos should do the trick for you. The set photos firstly give us a look at a bearded and seasoned Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), and you can also see Logan reunited with Charles Xavier, who doesn’t look like he’s having the best day. Out of context, the images open the floor for plenty of speculation as to what situation the characters are in, and from the little known so far, we’ll just have to let our imagination fly for now.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’: Michael Barbieri Joins Cast

The excitement/anticipation surrounding Spider-Man: Homecoming is high, and even though we know next to nothing about the film, casting announcements have not been shy, and now we add actor Michael Barbieri to that list. According to reports, Barbieri joins the film as one of Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) friends, and though there is no confirmation on what specific character he will play, one report points out that it would be a different take on Ganke, who in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics is the best friend of that universe’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’: Filming Dates Revealed

Things seem to be moving in a good direction with Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok, and after some recent great casting announcements we now get word on when and where filming would take place. Reportedly, Thor: Ragnarok will be making its home down under at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast, where filming is set to begin on July 4th and go on until October.

‘Justice League Dark’ May Get an Animated Feature

For a very long time the possibility of a Justice League Dark live-action film has been floating around with director Guillermo Del Toro involved and occasionally offering updates on the project, but with no significant developments. Now it looks like there may be plans of adapting the DC Comics property as an animated feature film. As we learned form a report, the British Board of Film Classification’s site has listed “A Sneak Peek at Justice League Dark” under their bonus content for Batman: The Killing Joke. Nothing has been confirmed at this point, and it could all be just us looking into this detail too much, but the possibility of a Justice League Dark animated movie is enticing.
