Our eyes are set on the next superhero showdown on the calendar and that is Captain America: Civil War, and anticipation continues to build with the release of a new international promo and a new TV spot. Both the international promo and the TV spot continue to tease the conflict between the opposing sides, with few new looks here and there surrounded by footage we’ve already seen this far. Curiously, no Spider-Man in the promotional material this time around.

Doctor Strange is currently undergoing shoots ahead of its November 4th release date, most recently on the streets of New York as these new set images reveal. In the set images and a short clip, we can see Benedict Cumberbatch in full costume as the Sorcerer Supreme, joined by Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. The costume looks incredible, and also the cuts on the face makes one wonder what or who Stephen Strange if facing on the streets of NY.

‘Suicide Squad’: New International Trailer Released

One might say that the future of the DCEU is a bit of a question mark at the moment, and everyone is now looking at David Ayer’s Suicide Squad to provide relief to those doubts. In anticipation of the next film on the lineup, WB has released a new international trailer for the supervillain team-up. The new trailer is pretty much a shorter version of the first official trailer which injected humor into the mix, but tough to complain, it’s a fantastic trailer.

Speaking of injecting humor, the film is reportedly heading back for reshoots to introduce more levity. Apparently all of the comedic moments in the trailer are all of the comedic moments in the movie. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for Suicide Squad and going forward in the DCEU.

‘Batman’: Ben Affleck Has Written a Solo Movie Script

Love or hate the film, Ben Affleck’s Batman role in Batman v Superman appears to be the thing that fans universally praised. A standalone Batman film is only rumored at this point, but what is not a rumor now is that Affleck himself has written a script for a Batman solo film. During an interview, William Morris Endeavor co-CEO Patrick Whitesell kindly revealed that “there’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

‘The LEGO Batman Movie’: New Trailer Released

As if they didn’t charm us enough with the first trailer, WB decided we needed more convincing and released a second trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie. We go into Wayne Manor this time around, humorously getting reminded by Alfred of the many portrayals of Batman we have gotten so far. It looks like there will be plenty to laugh at with this Batman, and that’s a refreshing changeup for the character.

After Jessica Jones and upcoming Luke Cage, Marvel’s Netflix universe will be joined by Danny Rand in Iron Fist. Weeks after the announcement that Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones is set to play the leading role, another GOT actor has reportedly been cast in the Netflix series, this time Jessica Henwick. According to reports, Henwick has been cast as Colleen Wing, a martial arts expert in New York who runs her own dojo and will play an important role in Rand’s return to the city.
