‘Batman v Superman’ Releases New Clip

From all of the promotional material from Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice one of the most popular lines has to be Batman (Ben Affleck)’s “Tell me, do you bleed?”, and now thanks to the reveal of a new clip we get a better look at the exchange where the line is spoken. The clip shows Superman (Henry Cavill) ripping the top off the Batmobile and then ordering Bruce to “bury” the bat, to which Batman’s response is the now famous question.

‘Wonder Woman’ Casts Hippolyta

Patty JenkinsWonder Woman is currently in production, but apparently that doesn’t mean the film can’t keep making key additions to the cast, in this case, the casting of Princess Diana (Gal Gadot)’s mother Hippolyta. According to reports, actress Connie Nielsen has closed a deal to play the Amazonian queen Hippolyta, though it is still unknown how Wonder Woman’s mother will fit into the story.

Speaking of the story of Wonder Woman, the rumor that the film would in part take place during WWI has now become confirmed thanks to Chris Pine. Pine, who will play Steve Trevor in the film, recently confirmed in an interview that Wonder Woman will take place in a “period we don’t see often”, WWI.

‘Black Panther’: Ryan Coogler Set to Direct

It’s been a bit of a bumpy road finding a director for Marvel’s Black Panther, but after a lot of speculations and rumors, it has now officially been confirmed that Creed director Ryan Coogler will helm the highly-anticipated Black Panther. Marvel confirmed the addition of Coogler to the “Marvel family” via a press release, where Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige said the following, “Many fans have waited a long time to see Black Panther in his own film, and with Ryan we know we’ve found the perfect director to bring T’Challa’s story to life.”

‘Aquaman’: Amber Heard in Talks to Play Mera

James Wan’s Aquaman is definitely looking to get its cast together, and it seems like the role they are looking to fill at the moment is that of Aquaman (Jason Momoa)’s love interest Mera. It is being reported that actress Amber Heard is currently in negotiations to land the role of the eventual Atlantian queen Mera, who will make her first appearance in the DCCU in Justice League: Part One.

‘Gambit’ To Start Filming in New Orleans This March

If you caught the Golden Globes recently and saw Channing Tatum, you probably thought it looked like he had begun preparations for his Gambit look, and it appears to be the case with reports that Gambit will begin shooting in New Orleans this March. Considering the setbacks that the film faced not long ago, it’s encouraging news that 20th Century Fox has set a start-date for the upcoming Doug Liman film. According to reports, filming begins in March and will mostly take place in the Hollywood South area of New Orleans.
