DEADPOOL Green Band and Red Band Trailers Give Cleaner and Dirtier Look at the Antihero

20th Century Fox released the first trailers for the upcoming R-rated superhero movie, giving us a glimpse on what the “merc with a mouth” will look like when Deadpool hits theaters. The studio released two trailers, a cleaner green-band trailer for general audiences, and a red-band trailer showing the antihero in his full inappropriate glory.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN Rumor Hints at Scoot McNairy’s Role

Scoot McNairy’s role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice still remains a mystery, but the actor’s role has not been shy of a few rumors. The most recent rumor about his role claims that the actor will be playing Jimmy Olsen, and not just that, but that he lost both of his legs during the events of Man Of Steel and now uses prosthetic legs to walk. According to the rumor, Olsen also “doesn’t blame Superman for it [his loss of legs]. He feels grateful that Superman saved the world.”

DOCTOR STRANGE Will Be “Marvel’s FANTASIA” Says Cinematographer Ben Davis

Doctor Strange is still some time away from being released, and while the film is in pre-production at the moment, it’s still not too far for cinematographer Ben Davis to begin to tease us about the upcoming Marvel property. While speaking about the film, Davis commented about the look of the film and how it will be different from the other Marvel films:

“It has a very psychedelic grounding, and it’s not your typical Marvel action movie … Most of the work within it is about other dimensions. And I described it, I think, when I was talking to Marvel as Marvel’s Fantasia, in a way, because it’s so sort of out there and different to everything else that they’ve done.”

X-MEN Live-Action Series Could Happen for Fox Television

Fox is looking to expand their X-Men franchise even further, by bringing the mutant team to television. According to reports, Fox Television Group and Marvel are currently in negotiations to bring a live-action series to the small screen. A deal has not been closed as of yet but Fox is hoping they will be “able to announce something soon”.

GAMBIT Short List for Female Lead Role Includes Lea Seydoux and Rebecca Ferguson

Fox’s Gambit went through a little bit of a roller coaster last week when negotiations with lead Channing Tatum looked shaky, but with that now resolved the film is moving ahead. With a male lead now locked, the project is looking to land a female lead, and according to reports, the short list for ladies in contention for the part of Belladonna Boudreaux aka Bella includes Lea Seydoux, Rebecca Ferguson, and Abbey Lee.

FANTASTIC FOUR Production Troubles Revealed

Fantastic Four had a rough opening weekend. It was panned by critics, tanked at the box office, and on Thursday night, director Josh Trank said that he had a version of the movie a year ago that would have been much better, which indicates that the studio, 20th Century Fox, interfered with his vision. Now folks are trying to figure out who’s to blame for the debacle: Trank or Fox.
