When Is Superman Flying to You? International Release Dates for MAN OF STEEL

     December 14, 2012

Superman may represent “Truth, Justice, and The American Way”, but he’s not jingoistic.  He’s for the whole world (except the USSR; that did not turn out well for the planet), and Warner Bros. has now announced worldwide release dates for Man of Steel.  Brazil, Japan, The Philippines, and Egypt get the movie the earliest with a date set for June 12, 2013 (although I’m not sure how that pans out time-zone wise) while the people of South Africa, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland get it on the late side with a release on June 28, 2013.

” The film opens in the U.S. of A. on June 13, 2014.”

Trying to be cute, and you get the date wrong, what an idiot.

Um technically, he is right. There will be midnight showings of this film and it will fall into the theater’s business day. When a theater opens it’s doors on June 13th (or any other day), it’s still the same business day until they lock the doors for the night.

He’s talking about the 2014 part.

    Oh wow…..oops! My mistake.
