Based on true events, Compliance tells the story of a pretty young blonde named Becky (Dreama Walker), who works at a suburban fast food joint for her high-strung manager, Sandra (Ann Dowd). When Sandra receives a phone call from someone claiming to be a police officer, saying that Becky has stolen money from a customer, she thinks she’s doing the right thing by leading an investigation, no matter how invasive the instructions become, and leaving audiences wondering just how far this nightmare will go.

At the film’s press day, actress Dreama Walker talked to Collider for this exclusive interview about how she came to be a part of this film, having been the same age as the victim the story was based on, that she was surprised about how controversial this film has become, how she got to a comfortable place with the director and subject matter, and being a people pleaser, in real life. She also talked about her desire to work with people who are like-minded and fun, what she loves about her comedy series Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23 (which returns to ABC on October 23^rd), upcoming guest stars, and the fact that she’d love to play a character that acts out of anger and is a total bad-ass. It’s easy to forget, with the bevy of fantastic series that have become critical, popular, zeitgeist-inducing hits in the last few years on cable, that network TV still has plenty to offer in the way of decent programming.  Some of the risks may not be as big, some of the scheduling may be a permanent frustration (see: The Good Wife), and some of the best series may get canceled too quickly while some pretty awful trash sticks around (is that our own faults? A discussion for another day) — but in the end, there’s quality.  Hit the jump for a list of new series and a few overlooked returning shows worth highlighting among the recently-released network schedules.

We’ve already highlighted the trailer for the anticipated remake of the classic series Charlie’s Angels, but ABC has also released trailers for the rest of their new series as well. Now you can see the official trailers for ABC’s new series including Apartment 23 starring James Van Der Beek, Leslie Bibb and Kristen Chenowith in Good Christian Belles, Tim Allen’s return to TV in Last Man Standing, Dan Fogler in Man Up, Missing starring Ashley Judd, the fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, Christina Ricci in Pan Am, the high society drama Revenge, the Amazon-set The River, Henry Ian Cusick in Scandal, and the comedies Suburgatory and Work It.

Again I’m not impressed or interested at all in Once Upon a Time, and Last Man Standing just looks like a huge disappointment for Tim Allen fans. However, I’m defintely more interested in Pan Am after seeing this new trailer and I really hope Apartment 23 is able to get the attention of children of the 90′s who grew up with Dawson’s Creek because it looks pretty damn funny.
