With director Kevin Tancharoen’s (Fame) Glee: The 3D Concert Movie hitting theaters this weekend, 20th Century Fox has sent over 6 clips. Starring most of the cast (Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and many others), the film will feature such iTunes friendly covers as: “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Teenage Dream,” and “Lucky.” The pic also throws some original songs into the mix in the form of “Loser Like Me” and “Hell to the No!” Hit the jump to watch the clips. As if the world couldn’t get enough “Gleeking” (I’m pretty sure that’s actually when you projectile spit out of your mouth), we will soon be served a hot platter of the acclaimed sing-a-long high school drama not only on the silver screen, but in the third dimension as well. Only a little bit of footage was shown, but people went nuts over it. I never knew there were so many fans of Glee at Comic-Con. That is, until I became witness to the hundreds of shrieking fans reacting to a short clip from the upcoming Glee: The 3D Concert Movie like it was the second coming of Jesus. It was apparent that some Gleeks are just as diehard crazy as the majority of us nerds walking the convention floor. But no, it won’t just be a 2-hour episode of Glee. Think Justin Bieber Never Say Never meets a smaller group of slightly older but equally crazed female fans.
Check out the trailer here. Hit the jump to find out more details on the footage shown as well as what the cast had to say during their panel about the upcoming season, including whether or not the graduating seniors will be leaving the show.

Directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame), the film will feature such iTunes friendly covers as: “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Teenage Dream,” and “Lucky.” The pic also throws some original songs into the mix in the form of “Loser Like Me” and “Hell to the No!” (news which, I assume, means something to fans of the series).

After Madonna, Lady GaGa and, most recently, Britney Spears inspired entire episodes of Glee through their music, the cult classic tunes and fashions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will hit Prospect High School for an homage to the transvestite fueled musical. The episode doesn’t hit the air until October 26th, but today we have our first look at the episode including several cast members in full wardrobe.
After the jump you can see bigger versions of the above pictures with Finn (Cory Monteith) as Brad, Quinn (Dianna Agron) as a Time Warp dancer and Kurt (Chris Colfer) as Riff Raff. In addition there’s also a couple pictures of Sam (Chord Overstreet) as Rocky and Dr. Carl (John Stamos) clad in black leather as Eddie. Looks like it’s going to one fantastic episode for the week leading up to Halloween, but I’m still anxious to see who plays Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the role spectacularly played by Tim Curry back in 1975. My fingers are crossed for Jane Lynch to step into the high heels.

After their crippling (sorry, Artie) loss at regionals last year, New Directions is back after a refreshing summer. To catch up on all the latest buzz, gossip-mongering blogger Jacob is running around the school getting all the latest scoops on Rachel and Finn’s romance, Puck’s vasectomy and his public’s desire to stop Mr. Schuester from rapping. This hilarious and creative way of catching up those who fell behind last season also serves as a great way to make light of the criticisms that have filled the web from the naysayers who just don’t get why Glee is just a fun-loving musical romp. It also shows that creators Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk (who also directs the premiere) are very self-aware and don’t wish to take themselves too seriously. Enter the sophomore year of New Directions and Fox’s hit show Glee. Hit the jump for more.
