We’re a little more than a week out from the release of Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to 2010′s Clash of the Titans. You may have noticed from the images and trailers released for the movie so far that Wrath has no shortage of mythological creatures wreaking havoc and making life a living Hell for our heroes. With all of those beasties vying for screen time, it’s tough to pick out just which one is responsible for all that destruction. Take for instance, the fireball pictured above, which comes courtesy of one of the more bizarre creatures from Greek mythology, the Chimera. This new creature featurette will teach you everything you need to know should you find yourself up against the fearsome fire-breather.

With director Asger Leth’s (Ghosts of Cité Soleil) Man on a Ledge opening this weekend, I recently got to speak with most of the cast about making the movie. The film centers on an ex-cop (Sam Worthington) convicted of a crime he didn’t commit who stands on the ledge of a Manhattan building, threatening to kill himself. However, what appears to be a suicide attempt is something else altogether. The film also stars Jamie Bell, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Banks, Ed Burns, Titus Welliver, Genesis Rodriguez, Kyra Sedgwick, and Ed Harris.
During my interview with Worthington we talked about how he got involved in Man on a Ledge, what was it like to really stand on the ledge, how many takes he likes to do, and if he was ever nervous. In addition, we talked about video games, how he got cast in the Call of Duty commercial with Jonah Hill, how Wrath of the Titans is going to be different from the first film, and an upcoming project called Thunder Run that sounds very cool. After writing the horror thriller Orphan for Appian Way, screenwriter David Johnson and that production company had been looking for another project they could do together. Then, he was approached by them with the idea of adapting the story of Red Riding Hood, which he turned into a mystery thriller and coming of age romance, with the fairy tale woven throughout. After finishing that project, he collaborated with Greg Berlanti and Dan Mazeau to develop the story and write the script for Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to the Greek mythology epic Clash of the Titans.
While at the press day for Red Riding Hood, helmed by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and starring Amanda Seyfried in the title role, David Leslie Johnson did this exclusive interview with Collider and talked about developing the well-known fairy tale into a full-length feature film, writing a mystery that creates doubt and paranoia for the audience, collaborating very intensely with Catherine Hardwicke on the script, and getting the chance to see what the sets looked like once the world was brought to life. He also talked about the unusual process of breaking the story for Wrath of the Titans, since they were under such a time crunch with it, using action to illuminate the characters, and getting to work with a blank slate, since there was no sequel to the myth of Perseus.
