On Friday night, I attended the opening of what is surely one of the best pieces of interactive marketing ever assembled: “ElecTRONica” at Disney’s California Adventure theme park. For the casual theme park attendee, I assume it would be an interesting thing to experience. But for someone eagerly anticipating the upcoming film, Tron: Legacy, it was a dream come true.
The event starts at 6:00 pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, and runs from now through the beginning of next year. Hit the jump to check out my impressions of the event, as well as pictures detailing my experience.

In advance of the highly-anticipated TRON: Legacy, Disney is launching “ElecTRONica” at Disney’s California Adventure theme park. “ElecTRONica” is an event that begins tomorrow and will run every weekend this fall and select holiday weeks from 6:00 pm until close. The official Disney Parks Blog has images of the reconstructed “Flynn’s Arcade” which will host such classic arcade games as Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, and Centipede. If this re-constructed Flynn’s Arcade is anything like the one they’ve built at Comic-Con the last two years, then it’s going to be a blast and you have swing by and check it out.
Hit the jump to check out the exterior of Flynn’s Arcade and the special tokens you’ll be using if you attend. TRON: Legacy opens in 3D on December 17th. The film stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, hit the jump to check out some concept art for the event.
